Park Security Officer 3 - Brown County State Park


Job Description:
The Park Security Officer patrols the park and the Abe Martin Lodge, observing for and correcting violations of park rules and regulations, responding to emergency situations, helping park visitors, assisting other park employees in the performance of their duties, collecting fees, and performing minor repairs to facilities. Employee will also have a secondary responsibility to perform park maintenance work during times of low park visitation.

Responsibilities:
Employee receives general training and direction from supervisors but works independent of direct supervision. Employee is responsible for assessing situations and making decisions with consequences that could be as serious as life and death. Employee is entrusted with handling cash and other valuables. Employee must interact effectively with park visitors, park staff, and emergency services personnel.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Incumbent must have a high school diploma or GED and a current Indiana driver's license.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
