Up to $25 per hour
Qualifications:
? High school diploma, GED or HSE required.
Post-secondary certification or degree in one or more related industries preferred.
? Three years work experience required.
? Demonstrate the ability to learn new software and data management systems.
? Ability to work with students, counselors, principals, and directors.
? Knowledge of work-based learning initiatives to include career counseling.

Director of Career Connected Learning JOB GOALS:
Collaboratively work with the Director of Career Connected Learning to establish and implement a Career Connected Learning plan K-12.
As a part of this plan, the WBL coordinator will implement and direct a comprehensive work-based learning program.
Responsibilities:
Skills:
? Strong organizational skills; ? Ability to coordinate, design, structure, and integrate school-based and work-based instruction; ? Ability to develop, supervise, and complete projects; ? Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability and/or experience to network and collaborate at all levels; and, ? Use of computer software used for work production, student management and communication.
Coordinating Functions:
? Serve as a liaison between the school districts, employers, and WBL intermediary Regional Opportunity Initiative (ROI).
? Coordinate connecting activities between school-based and work-based learning.
? Coordinate the development of school-based and work-based competencies.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ? Assist the Director of Career Connected Learning in defining needs, developing CCL plans, establishing goals, and formulating policies and procedures for program development.
? Recruit new businesses and organizations to provide quality work-based and school based learning opportunities for students; serve as the liaison between the school, business and industry.
? Maintain lists of businesses/industries willing to participate in work-based learning and/or CCL activities.
? Prepare and submit required reports and other documents; enter and track all WBL opportunities.
? Assist in screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified students for work-based learning experiences.
? Coordinate Cooperative Education, Internships, Job Shadowing, Service Learning, and other Work-Based Learning programs offered.
? Contact business and industry in regards to their employment and training needs and to encourage partnerships with our schools.
? Disseminate information on Career Connected Learning and Work-Based Learning programs to employers, parents, teachers, students, and counselors.
? Assist with curriculum development and integration of technical and academic education that meets the criteria for the Indiana GPS dashboard.
? Assist with career development of students through career clusters, extended learning opportunities, and employability skills as measured by the Indiana GPS.
? Attend various meetings of school personnel and employers.
? Prepare, review, and edit written materials as needed for correspondence, brochures, and agendas.
? Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials to support pathways and Work-Based Learning programs.
? Maintain professional development by participating in national and state organizations/associations, and attending conferences related to pathways, career connected learning, and work-based learning.
? Host a Fall and/or Spring Industry Fair which allows local industry to come and meet with students.
? Maintain current and new Advisory Committees for pathways, GWEC, etc.

Supervise and coordinate Advisory Committee meetings.
Keep on file records of such meetings.
Assist pathway teachers with their Program Advisory Committees as needed.
? Work with instructors to provide instruction in:
employability skills, Resume writing and interviewing skills.
? Other duties as assigned by the director.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS ? Internal- advise, consult, and coordinate with students, instructors, and staff and be available to attend school functions and meetings.
? External- work with employers, educators, government representatives, and other community leaders in the development of project and programs.
? State and National- participate in state and national organizations/associations and attend conferences related to pathways, career connected learning, and work-based learning professional development.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Certificate in Occupational Subject and industry related experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, students, parents and the school community.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and the Board of Education policies.
This is a one year 3 E Grant funded position August 1, 2023- July 31, 2024.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
